Company Easter Announcement
Hi All,
As we approach a nice and well deserved 4-day weekend I want to thank you all for your hard work over the past few months which has been an extremely busy period for us as a business as well as give you an update on a few things you may have seen or heard around the office.
Firstly, welcome Paul Kennedy to the team over at 24/7. Whilst it is a bit of a transition period from his own business AppleCore he will continue to support his school's this year as his own company but he is very much a part of the family here and I would like you all to welcome him as I know you already have as he has worked unofficially very closely with us for the last 12 months.
2024 is the 10th year of business at 24/7 Technology and I have decided it is time for a bit of a changeā¦
As you can see from above we will be undergoing a progressive rebrand in 2024 before our 10th Birthday.
This will come in the form of a new website which is currently under development, new e-mail signatures, and... some new Trading Names...
Our Internet and Webfiltering service we offer to schools will be rebranded as Safenet. This includes the domain safenet.education which we procured last year, and a new logo to differentiate our main core business from this. This will give us the opportunity to push out into schools we do not provide IT support in and offer an all inclusive service which is not attached to the support.
Further still, we are in the early throws of researching a residential service which will be targeted at Senior Retirement Living. Offering a service where we attend workshops one day a month to help residents who are not technically savvy with their technology whilst providing their internet and telephone lines.
The name for this will be Fibre House and we have procured the domain fibre.house. If anybody has any ideas or would like to be involved with this project please let me know as this is something that I think not only is a great idea but also gives back to the people that made the world we live in today.
Now for holding my hands up...
I got it wrong I owe everyone an apology who has carried equipment up and down the stairs! Very soon will be giving Paul G's arms and legs a bit of a rest... He only has a few machines now to move downstairs!
Over the next weeks and hopefully not many months we will be re-modelling upstairs to offer a refreshing office environment for us all. If anybody has any suggestions or things they want in the office please e-mail me and let me know!
Lastly, I hope you all enjoy the easter break with your families. Thank you very much for your hard work and support over what has been a busy but extremely exciting period for us!
Thanks
Dan
